✅ Marinakis signs another goalkeeper!
Evangelos Marinakis has a fascination with goalkeepers. Nottingham Forest’s signing of Stefan Ortega from Manchester City means that Forest have signed 11 goalkeepers since their return to England’s top division three and a half years ago.
This time, however, Marinakis has turned his attention to Portugal, where Rio Ave – another club he owns – have completed the signing of Ennio van der Gouw from Belgian side Zulte Waregem.

👀 Juventus’ long No.9 list
Juventus have intensified their search for a new striker, with the club now actively weighing late attacking additions.
Several profiles have been explored in recent weeks. Juventus have assessed options including Jean-Philippe Mateta, Youssef En-Nesyri, Randal Kolo Muani and Mauro Icardi.
A new name has now emerged. Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Juventus are considering Alexander Sørloth of Atlético Madrid.

AC Milan have decided not to move forward with a potential deal for Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, according to Sky in Italy.
The French international is said to have undergone a medical with the Italian giants, only for a problem to be detected that deterred them from completing the deal.

✍️ Nilson Angulo set to join Sunderland
Sunderland have reached an agreement with Anderlecht to sign winger Nilson Angulo. The Ecuador international will arrive in a deal worth £15m plus £2.5m in add-ons, according to Sky Sports News’ North East reporter Keith Downie.
The 22-year-old is currently undergoing a medical overseas and is expected to replace Simon Adingra, who is closing in on a move to AS Monaco.

❌ Ivan Toney rejects Premier League interest
Ivan Toney has opted against a return to the Premier League this window, turning down approaches from Juventus and two English clubs. The striker remains settled at Al Ahli, where he believes he is in peak physical condition.
Toney has scored 56 goals in 72 appearances since joining the Saudi club from Brentford for £40m 18 months ago and is targeting a place in England’s World Cup squad.

✅ Jesurun Rak-Sakyi to join Stoke
Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has completed a move to Stoke City on deadline day, on loan with an obligation to buy the player from Crystal Palace in the summer. The story was first revealed by journalist Joe Krishnan on January 30.
AS Monaco, as well as clubs from Turkey, were said to have been interested but the player preferred a move to the Championship club.

✅ Ortega speaks after completing Forest move
Nottingham Forest have officially completed the signing of Stefan Ortega, with the goalkeeper – who signed on Sunday – speaking for the first time as a Forest player.
“I’m here to support the goalkeepers but also to challenge everyone,” the German said to Nottingham Forest’s official channels. “I’m ambitious and want to play as many games as possible, but ultimately it’s about what’s best for the team.”

🤝 Simon Adingra to AS Monaco edges close
AS Monaco are set to sign Simon Adingra on loan from Sunderland. The winger had only just signed for the Black Cats in the summer from fellow Premier League club Brighton, but has not had the playing time he would have expected.
The Ligue 1 side have capitalised on the situation and have stepped in to offer him a new opportunity. Fabrizio Romano has stated that the deal is close to completion in a move that will cost Monaco €1m for a six-month loan and a possible €17m fee to make it permanent.

✅ DONE DEAL: Athletic Club sign Turkish midfielder
Athletic Club, who have only ever allowed players from the Basque region to represent them, have signed a Turkish midfielder Efe Korkut from VfB Stuttgart.

✅ DONE DEAL: Sissoko to Panathinaikos
Moussa Sissoko has completed a move to Greek Super League club Panathinaikos.
The Frenchman, who has had spells with Newcastle and Tottenham in the past, signs on an 18-month contract the Greek giants, after leaving Championship side Watford.

❌ Malacia’s Turkish deal off
Tyrell Malacia was on his way to Istanbul for a medical to an unnamed Turkish club, only for Manchester United’s sporting director Jason Wilcox to suddenly call him back.
That’s according to Joost Blaauwhof, who claims that the former Feyenoord man is now upset with the Red Devils as he looked set to get a new opportunity.

✅ DONE DEAL: Immobile signs for Paris FC
Veteran Italian striker Ciro Immobile has completed a surprise move to Ligue 1 club Paris FC on Deadline Day.
The 35-year-old signed for Bologna last summer but made just a handful of appearances, forcing him to look for opportunities elsewhere. Paris FC are 14th in Ligue 1 having just been promoted last summer.

🔄 Barcelona extend Cuenca contract
Andres Cuenca looked set to be leaving Barcelona last month to join Serie A side Como. But the Catalan club have moved purposefully to secure his long-term future and have extended his deal until 2027.
And with immediate effect, Cuenca will be loaned out to Sporting Gijon for him to get playing time at a competitive level, before re-evaluating his role in the summer.

🏥 MEDICAL: Lookman to sign for Atletico Madrid
Ademola Lookman appears moments away from sealing his move to Atletico Madrid from Atalanta. The Nigerian has been in the Spanish capital since last night ahead of a medical examination.
The move is expected to be 35 million euros up front, plus a further 5m in add-ons, bringing an end to a fabulous spell with Atalanta where he helped the club to its first ever European trophy in the form of the Europa League in 2023/24, where he scored two goals in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.

👀 Palace go for Kluivert
Crystal Palace are pushing to sign a central defender today. After Club Brugge rejected a bid for Joel Ordonez, the Eagles have turned their attention to Ruben Kluivert from Lyon.
According to Santi Aouna from Foot Mercato, Palace are keen to explore a move for the Dutchman whose contract runs until 2030.
The fact that Lyon are going through financial issues could mean that a move is viable.

Olympiacos have completed the signing of Brazilian striker Clayton from Rio Ave, with the 27-year-old having arrived in Greece late on Sunday as the club finalise their plans to reshape their attacking line.
Clayton has been identified for several days as the player chosen to fill the gap left by Roman Yaremchuk, who joined Lyon on loan, in Olympiacos’ attacking options.

West Ham have edged closer to securing a new centre-back this January. Chelsea’s Alex Disasi is having a medical in East London as we speak, according to Ben Jacobs, although the player has not yet agreed to join the Hammers.
West Ham saw Jean-Clair Todibo pick up a red card in a fiery clash between the two sides on Saturday, and need defensive reinforcements for their relegation battle.

Brighton midfielder Brajan Gruda has joined RB Leipzig on loan until the end of the season, in a move that has caught Seagulls fans off-guard.

After Mikel Merino‘s injury on Saturday, Arsenal are not prepared to take any risks in the season run-in and are already drawing up potential short-term replacements.
In a move that nobody expected, Arsenal have made an initial approach for Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali. According to Florian Plettenberg at Sky Germany, the move is seen as “very difficult” and the Magpies have already rejected an offer.

🏥 Angel Gomes having Wolves medical
Wolves have struck a deal in principle to sign Angel Gomes from Olympique Marseille.
The agreement is a loan move worth €1m, with an option to buy set at around €7m. Marseille have approved the structure of the deal, with only formal paperwork and final steps remaining. Gomes is currently undergoing his medical with Wolves ahead of the move being completed.

Liverpool have reached an agreement to sign Jeremy Jacquet, with the deal set to be completed in June 2026.
The Reds have agreed a fee of €60m plus a further €10m in add-ons with Rennes, while Jacquet has already settled personal terms with the club. The centre-back is considered one of the standout defensive prospects in world football, with the agreement now fully in place for a summer 2026 move.

Nottingham Forest have had a second bid for Celtic midfielder Arne Engels rejected, leaving the Premier League club facing a race against time to strengthen their midfield before the transfer window closes at 19:00 GMT.
A £20m bid has been turned down, with Celtic boss Martin O’Neill against the move “unless it was £100 million”.
