Vitinha responds to Real Madrid rumours and insists he is happy at Paris Saint-Germain while praising Pedri.
Vitinha has firmly dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid, insisting he is fully committed to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Portuguese midfielder has emerged as one of Europe’s standout midfielders over the past couple of seasons. Since joining PSG from FC Porto in 2022, Vitinha has developed into a key figure in the Paris side’s midfield and a consistent performer at the highest level.
Last season marked a historic campaign for the club, as PSG secured a treble that included their first-ever victory in the Champions League. Vitinha played an important role throughout that success, helping establish himself among the elite midfielders in world football.
His performances have inevitably attracted attention from Europe’s biggest clubs, with recent reports suggesting Real Madrid could be interested in signing him. However, the 24-year-old has made it clear he has no intention of leaving Paris.
“I don’t think it’s the best thing for me. I feel great here at PSG,” Vitinha said.
He also spoke about the appreciation he feels from those around the club.
“I feel that people appreciate me a lot, and I feel that I have earned that affection,” he explained.

Vitinha added that both he and his family are settled in the French capital and are enjoying life at PSG, while also praising the atmosphere within the squad and the work of head coach Luis Enrique.
“I love being here at PSG, and so does my family. We have a fantastic group and an incredible coach,” he said.
The midfielder also ruled out the possibility of a move to Saudi Arabia, despite the financial incentives that have attracted many players in recent years.
“Let’s not be naive. I’m more committed to a stable career. I already earn very well here in Europe, at a great club. Doubling or tripling that salary wouldn’t make me any happier.”
Is Vitinha the best in the world?
Vitinha was also asked about his standing among the world’s best midfielders.
“I don’t like to say I’m the best. It sounds arrogant, because it’s always just an opinion. But I know I’m part of that group,” he admitted.
He also reserved praise for Pedri, highlighting the FC Barcelona midfielder’s talent.
“Pedri? He’s magical. It’s spectacular to watch him play. When you play against him, you understand it even better.”
